PAPERCRAFT OBJECTS The FINAL

Paper craft-what can I say Laser cutters are neat and where you all my life when a big cutting project, for  this project I changed a lot of things in my old draft instead on holding the cone, it's fallen on the ground and the cone looks right, not funny looking like a crown or hat or bird beak which yes small but that got an overall I had sprinkles and puddle of ice cream

                      Original Design\prototype :

Feedback from class and changes that I add
  •   Made the cone bigger and longer
  • Glueing is cleaner
  • Sprinkles
  • instead of holding it, it has fallen down
  • one colour for ice cream
What I Did Not Add and did not have time was
  • Two scoops
  • Cherry's
  • waffle cone type for the cone
  • Make it cleaner

What I learned from Paper Craft:
  • Laser cutter are the best and easier then cutting
  • Always do tabs
  • make sure the same colour if that is what your doing
  • have a dry fit before glue
  • make double just in case
  • take your time
  • put your hair back
  • make sure its a clean image
  • have references
  • clean hands
  • have paper clips
  • Make sure the folds line
  • Have wet paper towels and dry ones

                     Reference plus template

OBJECTIFIED: RESPONSE To An Old Metal Peeler

For this week in object and design, I watched   Gary Hustwit's feature-length documentary: Objectified https://documentaryheaven.com/objectified/ explore the everyday non-living objects our daily lives in this project I used Tinkercad to make a peeler and more images below because in response in because how simple a peeler is to the everyday person and use of it, the design looks simple but how we use it where maker and designers think how people can use it but in documentary 1:30 "more than form, materials, how we as consumers touch it and feel it". In the documentary "every object has a story" because on 5:26 is when I saw a peeler. For me, I thought a peeler was it look so simple but a design that's were got me thinking even the simple items need improvement.                     For design Looking at extremes the weakest person with arthritis or an athlete or the strongest and fastest know the extremes, the middle w...

Papercraft Objects : Frist Prototype Ice Cream

PaperCraft Objects:             First Prototype  For PaperCraft making my object this first prototype   I did an Ice Cream and a cone 🍦,  Turning objects to real then template into printed, score,  cut, fold and pain in the butt glueing into a 3D model. This Is The Process of the template to score into the 3D. What I thought was at first was it was going to be easy but when I was doing it the bigger is easier to fold and cut like the top of ice cream vs the cone was smaller is harder because it is smaller. This is Prototype is more learning of what I like and what I don't like that I can change for the next prototype or final draft. For the Changes, there is a photo of changes that I want that at end of the photos I want the cone bigger and more details or folds in the cone and add another sphere ice cream part. Wait for a few mins after doing 3 pieces of paper then w...
