New Projects: Paper craft

 Grab your scissors, glue stick and of course papers in this project is paper crafts, the first step is making digital samples by Using Rhinoceros, BY sketching ideas in 3D, minimum of 8 unique forms both in 3D and unfolded into flat paper templates, there more unfolding then we realized, it's not your mama box how to unfolding because we're in the digital world lets not forget that, bring first the ideas I had and that lot,

and to add to this this 


These things/objects have a personal story
Book
Frist Object is a book but when opened up there is light because when I was a kid and still know I would read in the dark forget a book instead of turning on the whole room light. 
The next idea is Cherrys because when I was a kid there my favourite fruit, I remember when my family told at too much stomach will hurt and then have stains over my hands and  t-shirts

Next Objects... A gold brick that says stay gold from The Outsiders by S.E.Hinton because it's my favourite book one of the quotes from the book spoiler alert..  stay gold, that book is one of the reasons wanted to read.

The next Object is Head phones the ear type is more like a DJ style. I did them because that what I have there on my favourite type of headphones and some have different shapes and styles, sorry bit messy unfolding but also this object is for my love of music

The Next Objects is an ice cream cone and ice cream on top or trying to be. I like ice cream on hot days even cold ones if I want one it because after lunch with my grandmother and family would get ice cream and get different types like cheesecake and bubble gum was my favourite just bring lots of napkins because it would be all over my face.

The Next Objects is a star because I like that shape, I like to think bright thoughts or that every star is someone watching you and taking care of you like guardian angles

The next Object is a tepee mix with mountains. This reminds me of going to a camp called our lady of a peace camp and 8 girls plus a councillor would sleep in a tepee and spend a week there and enjoy the great outdoors with mountains in the background and coming into the camp.

The Last Object is My Name and book underneath  
I wanted to do this because I don't like putting my name on artwork or on something that is mine because I rather hide my artwork kinda backfired on me huh because I am writing a blog but never less something that tells you am I as a person and that's what all these objects represent and to get to know me more.

OBJECTIFIED: RESPONSE To An Old Metal Peeler

  For this week in object and design, I watched   Gary Hustwit's feature-length documentary: Objectified https://documentaryheaven.com/objectified/ explore the everyday non-living objects our daily lives in this project I used Tinkercad to make a peeler and more images below because in response in because how simple a peeler is to the everyday person and use of it, the design looks simple but how we use it where maker and designers think how people can use it but in documentary 1:30 "more than form, materials, how we as consumers touch it and feel it". In the documentary "every object has a story" because on 5:26 is when I saw a peeler. Papercraft Objects : Frist Prototype Ice Cream

               PaperCraft Objects:             First Prototype  For PaperCraft making my object this first prototype   I did an Ice Cream and a cone 🍦,  Turning objects to real then template into printed, score,  cut, fold and pain in the butt glueing into a 3D model. This Is The Process of the template to score into the 3D. What I thought was at first was it was going to be easy but when I was doing it the bigger is easier to fold and cut like the top of ice cream vs the cone was smaller is harder because it is smaller. This is Prototype is more learning of what I like and what I don't like that I can change for the next prototype or final draft. For the Changes, there is a photo of changes that I want that at end of the photos I want the cone bigger and more details or folds in the cone and add another sphere ice cream part.
