For this project, I am doing papercraft looking at artists that did this medium in different ways to approach this, I look at different links at first when I think papercraft was oh boy I can't cut good, I can show you, I pick Illuminated Cut Paper Light Boxes by Hari & Deepti.

This work of art is Papercraft that paper is placed inside a shadow box and is lit from behind with flexible LED light strips. This artist of the husband and wife team showed in-depth and creates a story with light and by adding more paper created darker tones and shades. They used watercolor paper which is thicker paper then normal printer paper. Maybe that they do different shades and look so dark

I Like this work of art because it different that the artist create a story almost like a pop up children's book that you find what on next page that keeps the story going. This art creates depth and tone in 2d point of view because a lot of paper craft is 3d like box like while this art makes like shadow playing at, it maybe small but it create meaning to person. When make believe becomes real our fairy tales read outload becomes real figures. I like also that there no color paper the color comes from lights, this piece of work reminds me of my favorite movie Wizard of OZ (great film) but off topic. Its when Dorothy finds the lion in forest, and it dark and scary at the time and feed off emotion from background that makes us scared but the light balance off the trees. it simple but there more to meets the eye when looking at this piece of art make what touch look more in depth.

OBJECTIFIED: RESPONSE To An Old Metal Peeler

For this week in object and design, I watched Gary Hustwit's feature-length documentary: Objectified https://documentaryheaven.com/objectified/ explore the everyday non-living objects our daily lives in this project I used Tinkercad to make a peeler and more images below because in response in because how simple a peeler is to the everyday person and use of it, the design looks simple but how we use it where maker and designers think how people can use it but in documentary 1:30 "more than form, materials, how we as consumers touch it and feel it". Papercraft Objects : Frist Prototype Ice Cream

PaperCraft Objects: First Prototype For PaperCraft making my object this first prototype I did an Ice Cream and a cone 🍦, Turning objects to real then template into printed, score, cut, fold and pain in the butt glueing into a 3D model. This Is The Process of the template to score into the 3D. What I thought was at first was it was going to be easy but when I was doing it the bigger is easier to fold and cut like the top of ice cream vs the cone was smaller is harder because it is smaller. This is Prototype is more learning of what I like and what I don't like that I can change for the next prototype or final draft.
